Although CartoMobile does not, itself, provide driving or walking directions or any kind of routing, it does know how to call other programs to provide directions to points that it knows about.
Getting Directions with a Street Address field
Select the feature by tapping on it to bring up the label
Tap the blue disclosure button to bring up the display form
Tap and hold on the address field
After a couple of seconds, a menu will pop up
Select from the pop-up menu
Select to start the Maps App with this address as the destination
Getting Directions with a GPS Field
Although you may not always have a street address, Cartographica provides another way to get directions to a location in its system, as long as it has a displayed GPS field.
Select the feature by tapping on it to bring up the label
Tap the blue disclosure button to bring up the display form
Tap and hold on the GPS field
After a couple of seconds, a menu will pop up
Select from the pop-up menu
Select to start the Maps App with the latitude and longitude of this feature as the destination
Similar processes can be followed with the button to start the Maps App with the feature as the center point.
