Although GPS is great for figuring out where you are, sometimes you would like to remember where you were. For example, after a long day of field work you may want to go back and look at the area in which you were working. The GPS isn't of much value there, unless you are staying in the area.
For times when you want to be able to remember previous locations, CartoMobile has Bookmarks. Bookmarks hold the location (latitude, longitude, and optionally the zoom level) of locations recorded earlier.
